Quote Book / Motivational Booklet
For years I read books of quotations; I started around age 15 or 16. (I'm 34 now) I found that I got to know a lot of great writers that way. You also get to read the BEST stuff they've written. Of course, in big books of quotations, you end up reading through a lot of junk before you get to something good. When you find that GREAT quote, time stops; you're thinking something you've never thought. Sometimes that feels like your head opens up at the top and pure knowledge pours down into you. I like to call that the "wisdom buzz".
And often, you can end up feeling new feelings too...things you never thought you could feel. If you come from a spiritual background, some might refer to that as "feeling the Spirit".
My book is a collection of over 400 such quotations. Yes, some might mean absolutely nothing to you. Some might blow you away. We're all at different levels of knowledge, experience, and life circumstances. Six months later, those quotes that meant nothing to you could become the most profound thing you'd ever read! Then you wonder how you missed it the first time. We're not always ready for some thoughts.
The book fits in your hand, your shirt pocket, etc. It's very small and is meant to be carried around. It's meant to be lived with. That way, you get the most out of it. If you have a spare moment, it makes for very good reading.
