I Have Found Today

Here’s another good poem about not living in the past:

I’ve shut the door on Yesterday,
Its sorrows and mistakes;
I’ve locked within its gloomy walls
Past failures and heartaches.

And now I throw the key away
To seek another room,
And furnish it with hope and smiles
And every springtime bloom.

No thought shall enter this abode
That has a hint of pain,
And every malice and distrust
Shall never therein reign.

I’ve shut the door on Yesterday
And thrown the key away –
Tomorrow holds no doubt for me,
Since I have found Today!

  • Thanks Shawn! If we can all learn to live for making the present as beautiful as possible what a wonderful world this will be!

  • The path of christ is somewhat difficult, but with patience, will, and humility one makes progress...It involves tribulation and suffering, without which it is not possible for one to find the path open for the benefit of his soul.

  • only where christ dwells is there blessedness.Where christ blesses there is heavenlyrepose.

I hope you like my contribution,As i have certainly enjoyed yours.
