  1. Please send me updates so that I can learn many things and can be ahead of others. Regards Charan….

  2. “There are no mistakes, no coincidences. All events are blessings given to us to learn from.”

Aahhh… I like this one. This pretty much sums up all the rest. We all make mistakes, but it’s how you look at it. If you learn from a “mistake,” then it’s a lesson, isn’t it?

  3. I really like 4, 5, 11, and 19. As long as we learn from our mistakes, they are truly lessons in life. Life is a series of lessons.

  4. While number one sounds good, I find it a bit hard to swallow. The lessons learned from our mistakes can only really begin once we acknowledge that we have indeed made them. The real doozies that I have made in my life were a tremendous help to me only once I acknowledged the truth that they were in fact, mistakes. On the other hand, the majority of these quotes are right on target. I do agree that the worst mistake of all is to fail to learn from our mistakes, but this in itself necessitates our understanding that even mistakes that we can learn from, were in fact, mistakes, so number 5 only gets a B.

I absolutely love Dan Heist’s quote, #19. This one is good advise to all of us. Today I called to apologize for the failure of our team to meet an acknowledged obligation to one of our benefactors. He thanked me for my quick response and pledged his continued support. Had I waited one day the result would have been most assuredl less favorable.

  5. Oh, and yes, had I failed to acknowledge with absolute clarity that we agreed that we had indeed made a mistake I doubt our benefactor would have been willing to continue his relationship with us.

  6. I quoted 25 to my wife this morning, “Never say “oops”, Always say, “Ah, interesting,”” Here response was that an occasional “Well duh.” may be appropriate.

  7. All the quots are good. one of my favourite “If you have made mistakes, even serious ones, there is always another chance for you. What we call failure is not the falling down, but the staying down”. -Mary Pickford

  8. I like Shawn’s quotes and the time he always spares to teach someone somewhere something. All the best in life Shawn.
