• Shaun, how uncanny you are at the timing of your quotes. This quote matches the topic regarding the majesty of God. A topic which I am currently engaged in a personal quest to understand more fully. Within this topic rests the divine attribute of God being the Victorious One, "The Mighty Warrior". In this attribute we find God to be the one who "rises". His Power and Might rises above all. No one can over power him nor out shine him. He ascends above all, but amazingly, he has chosen and brings with him all who are held captive in his train. God gives glory to the humble and lifts up the weak. Great topic Shaun.

• Hi Shawn, this is a beautiful piece to read, it is most inspiring.

  All I know is that I should not be here but I am due to God all the prayers that were said for me and an excellent doctor with gifted hands. Having the type of cancer I had and refusing Chemotherapy was not heard of before. I had ovarian and uterus cancer. Even with Chemotherapy the expected life span was to be three years. This Christmas it will be six years. I have checkups every six months and each time I walk into my specialist office he says, "Here is my miracle".

  I have always been a Catholic but never in the strictest form, yes I go to church and I pray for the sick, my family, and friends. I also talk to God. I think the best of me is that I trust in God, I have unquestionable faith and hope that has come with age and life experiences. I know that Angels are watching over me and guiding me. If I am uncertain about anything or upset they always guide me to make the right choice.

  There is a hymn I love, I would like to share the lyrics, wonderful word.

  • Very touching, Lee. I can't imagine what you went through; one of my best friends went through many stages and treatments of/for his cancer that ravaged him, and eventually he passed. But I have a Kiwi friend up here that's beat it twice and she's our miracle. Her and her husband (another close friend) exercised incredible faith and are great examples for a lot of people.
