  • Tension is who you think you should be. Relaxation is who you are. -Chinese Proverb

They are all great, but these are my favorites. Thanks for compiling these.

  • The Wind Up Toy
"Tension is who you think you should be. Relaxation is who you are."
    Chinese Proverb
Somewhere in my memory I remember a toy that you wind up until the spring is fully loaded and then you put it on the floor and it lets go, it jumps and moves around the room in mo particular way, just however it lands as the spring is unwinding.
In one way this is like stress, when we are getting fully wound up and our stress is great, we jump around, we react to whatever is around us, and our focus and our ability to perform in an organised is diminished, and we have less control over our outcomes because the decisions we made under stress may not have been wise decisions.
When we relax and allow ourselves to unwind in a way that is calm, we can then think a little clearer, we have the opportunity to think through a problem and make decisions that are more likely to hep solve whatever is causing our stress.
Stress does not only affect your mind it affects every call in your body, imagine all the millions of cells in your body being stressed, no wonder we ache and feel stiff when we are stressed.
Next time you feel stressed, stop, take a minute to breathe, take some really deep breathes, and as you do think some thoughts that will allow you to see past the immediate cause and to know that everything comes to pass.
Have the greatest day letting go of stress and enjoying your life.
    Kindest Regards
    Carol Rigby

This one got me. It's motivating enough to make you want to learn to handle stress or get rid of it completely. Who wants to show a cry of defeat to the world?

    Good Stuff
