Viktor Frankl is a holocaust survivor and I read his book Man’s Search for Meaning for a course I was taking. The quote is truely remarkable but not NEARLY as compelling as his book-sometimes we don’t realize how good we have it…always searching for something-a meaning, a purpose, or destiny in life, instead of letting life unfold and become us. The road is always paved, we just need to travel and marvel at it 🙂

Thanks Shaun. These fulfillment quotes give me a good way to start the day today. Over time, I have come to experience moments of great fulfillment. It use to be that the feelings of fulfillment came when I had accomplished something of great difficulty, conquered a task or acquired a skill. Eventually, I came to find fulfillment more in preforming a service for someone in need without the need for compensation like helping the poor, the sick or the troubled. But now, I have come to find my greatest sense of fulfillment when I am able to encourage someone else to pick up the baton of service to others and carry it until they too are capable of passing it along. This my friend is fulfilling.
