    The amazing reality of life is that we are not simply the sum total of all our choices. We are more than that. For the outcome of all our choices provide yet another circumstance within which we do not have to choose to live. We always have the opportunity to make better choices than those we have already made.

  8. I learned this, this past year when I was diagnosed with Stage 2 Breast Cancer. I spent a good portion of my life unhappy and concentrating on the wrong things. I made the choice after my diagnosis that I would no longer live that way. I have been counting my blessings ever since. Thank you for the great quotes.
