Here’s just a few longer quotes that I didn’t quite know what to do with:
1. Sad will be the day for any man when he becomes contented with the thoughts he is thinking and the deeds he is doing – where there is not forever beating at the doors of his soul some great desire to do something larger; which he knows he was meant and made to do. -Phillips Brooks
2. Keep your mind on the great and splendid things you would like to do and then, as the days go gliding by you will find yourself unconsciously seizing the opportunities that are required for the fulfillment of your desire. Picture in your mind the able, earnest, useful person you desire to be, and the thought you hold is hourly transforming you into that particular individual you so admire. -Elbert Hubbard
3. Life is a sheet of paper white,
Whereon each one of us may write
His word or two, and then comes night.
Greatly begin! Though thou have time
But for a line, be that sublime–
Not failure, but low aim, is crime.
-James Russell Lowell
There you go.
Which of the 3 do you like the most?
Why?

#1 and #3 really are a tossup as for which one I like the best. I will be writing them both down, and probably trying to commit them to memory (I like doing that) they are so good. # 3 reminds us that each day is like a blank sheet of paper to do with it what we will. Will we at least do something to make use of that God given day? And #1 – If we are completely contented with all we have done and therefore not keep striving for more, something “beating at the doors of his soul some great desire to do something larger; which he knows he was meant and made to do.
to be content with the thoughts and actions I am doing , really means that I have given up . sometimes I do for a while . but then my conscience tells me to shake myself and act right .
