    Hi Shawn!
I appreciate your effort in publishing these wonderful quotes. They are inspiring but somewhere I feel that most of them remain to be lackluster..or in other words, they fail to strike an emotional cord with the reader. Initially when I started reading them it seemed good but in course of time I’ve started getting bored with almost similar preaching on life. What I suggest is that you choose quotes which has some humor to it..taken from everyday experiences..or some short stories from an individuals own life would be highly welcome. I have gone through other site as well and found some to be very good.
I would also suggest that you should make your pages more colorful and attractive..
I hope the above suggestions are of some help. Wishing you good luck. Have a nice day.

    Amrita.

Points well taken, Amrita. I actually use a virtual assistant to gather a lot of these quotes these days, so I personally would take much harder-hitting quotes if I was the one searching for them. Let me work on some “quality-control”.

Life is a journey of growth in mind body and soul. We learn from education, experiences and people. I seem to be forever learning things and just when I think I have mastered it, something surprises me and I reasize I still have much to learn. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Thank you Shawn, the reason I enjoy reading your quotes is because they feed my brain, sometimes it gets overfed but that’s ok at least it is never idle, smile!

    I foud these quotes interesting:

A single conversation with a wise man is better than ten years of study. -Chinese Proverb

My comment to the quote above. I have learned many things when speaking with a knowledgeable person. My parents had a friend who could speak on a variety of topics, I foud him to be very informative. I discovered things that became public knowledge ten years later.

Learn everything you can, anytime you can, from anyone you can – there will always come a time when you will be grateful you did. -Sarah Caldwell

Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. -Albert Einstein

My comment: Sometimes I have to wonder if we will ever learn from past mistakes, it seems that we are still repeating them. I thought by now the Governments of the world wound be much wiser.

    Take care!

Quote #1 was my favourite but I’m not much a fan of school learning right now as I’m in school. I believe like most of the people quoted above that we should try to learn something everyday!!!

Amrita, why don’t you go look at the quotes you like. There are lots of humorous quotes but I’d rather learn something. Shawn, I think one of my favorites is:”I have never in my life learned anything from any man who agreed with me. -Dudley Field Malone”
    Thanks Shawn.

I enjoy these quotes because of the emphasis on learning! Steve Gottry gave me the idea to ask myself every night “What have I learned today?” This has been such a productive way to finish the day and encourages me to seek new learning the next day and the next.

These quotes are a learning experience in themselves. When you stop learning, you are inanimate, as if in a coma. Learning is what makes us keep on going. It’s always a great experience to learn something you never knew before, it leaves you wanting more.
    Thanks for these Shawn.

Hi thank you so much for taking the time to send us quotes. They really help.
My father passed away 2 weeks ago and my world has crumbled.
I am to give the tribute at the service. I can barely breathe, or get through one day to the next, let alone put together something meaningful that doesn’t leaved me in a paralysed blubbering state.
If you could pass on any quotes or inspirational thoughts re. the passing of a loved one, it wold help me so much.
    If not, I understand
    Thank you so much
