Life’s Purpose You Will Win

Life's Purpose You Will Win Poem
It’s the steady, constant driving

To the goal for which you’re striving,
Not the speed with which you travel
That will make the victory sure.
It’s the everlasting gaining,
Without whimper or complaining
At the burdens you are bearing,
Or the woes you must endure.

It’s the holding to a purpose
And the never giving in;
It’s the cutting down the distance
By the little that you win.
It’s the iron will to do it
And the steady sticking to it
So, whate’er your task, go to it
And life’s purpose you will win.

Nice poem Shawn. I always look forward to reading your material, they make me think. If only I could remember the things that I know…..It’s the iron will to do it…you have to do the things that you fear most (Unknown) to be free.

Life with a purpose never loose sight of the ultimate goal. Endurance and determination is always the master key to such a life, to propell u to higher grounds and mould u to stand the test of time.

    Hello Shawn,

All things in live are possible if we only take the time. Obstacles happen along the journey but they are just lessons to learn along the way. As each lesson is learned so inspiration is awaken for the journey to continue until we reach our destiny. As we look back the obstacles no longer seem so daunting as once they were and we can feel proud we continued and never gave up the journey, keeping faith and hope alive is very important.

You dear friend inspire such wonderful thoughts in me whenever I read your wonderful poems, quotes or thoughts. Thank you! Lee
