These problems quotes remind me we all have problems…and we often think other people have less than us.  But rather than focus on that idea, we ought to put that effort into solutions.  Hopefully these quotes will help you with that:

The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy. -Martin Luther King Jr.

    Albert Einstein’s brilliance may be partly credited to the simple ideas that he was able to encapsulate in simple sayings like this one: “We can’t solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them.” Not bad.

    For a person on a mission, problems are simply challenges, puzzles to be solved. For others, problems, no matter how small, are convenient excuses. – mine.

    Hey Shawn,

    Once again wonderful quotes on problems .. you are truly a mind reader and a great friend. Your site sure cheers the weary soul, for mine has, today after reading the wonderful words. Especially the Jewish Proverb – Guess we need broader shoulders cause we all have and will continue to have problems. It is how we deal with it. For that each of us need : inner strength, patience, forbearance and an ability to smile through our most difficult moments. Guess that is wisdom, as rightly said in the quote here, that the surest sign of wisdom is cheerfulness. And admittedly I see that so rarely these days. Let me begin with myself… the task would then be half done already.

    Thanks for sharing some amazing insights on life!

    Gud day to u… 🙂

    Lovely quotes to liven up one’s spirit.

    Life does not consist mainly, or even largely of facts and happenings. It consist mainly of the storm of thoughts that are forever blowing through one’s mind.

    Thanks & have a wonderful day….

    Hello Shawn,

    Wonderful quotes to inspire us all, to make our days lighter as the day closes its door. Thank you so much.

    I do have a few to add as well.

    Enduring habits I hate…. Yes, at the very bottom of my soul I feel grateful to all my misery and bouts of sickness and everything about me that is imperfect, because this sort of thing leaves me with a hundred backdoors through which I can escape from enduring habits. ~Friedrich Nietzsche, The Gay Science, 1882

    If I had a formula for bypassing trouble, I would not pass it round. Trouble creates a capacity to handle it. I don’t embrace trouble; that’s as bad as treating it as an enemy. But I do say meet it as a friend, for you’ll see a lot of it and had better be on speaking terms with it. ~Oliver Wendell Holmes

    The healthy and strong individual is the one who asks for help when he needs it. Whether he’s got an abscess on his knee or in his soul. ~Rona Barrett

    Some of God’s greatest gifts are unanswered prayers. ~Garth Brooks

    Some luck lies in not getting what you thought you wanted but getting what you have, which once you have got it you may be smart enough to see is what you would have wanted had you known. ~Garrison Keillor

    Who will tell whether one happy moment of love or the joy of breathing or walking on a bright morning and smelling the fresh air, is not worth all the suffering and effort which life implies. ~Erich Fromm

    In our nature, however, there is a provision, alike marvelous and merciful, that the sufferer should never know the intensity of what he endures by its present torture, but chiefly by the pang that rankles after it. ~Nathaniel Hawthorne, The Scarlet Letter

    Count the garden by the flowers, never by the leaves that fall. Count your life with smiles and not the tears that roll. ~Author Unknown

    We look before and after,
    And pine for what is not;
    Our sincerest laughter
    With some pain is fraught;
    Our sweetest songs are those that tell of saddest thought.
    ~Percy Bysshe Shelley, “Ode to a Sky Lark”

    I have heard there are troubles of more than one kind.
    Some come from ahead and some come from behind.
    But I’ve bought a big bat. I’m all ready you see.
    Now my troubles are going to have troubles with me!
    ~Dr. Seuss

    Wishing you a wonderful day!

    Dear Shawn, thank you so much for your quotes of wisdom!
    I am a cardiac patient and stroke victom.
    I was really down and depressed a few days ago and I opened your Thought of The Day and it was just as If God himself sent me the message to get up and dust off myself and courageously continue on with my misistry, even though I am in a wheel chair and have trouble putting my thoughts into words, I can still be an Inspiration to show others the power of God to raise the dead!
    I was without vital’s for over 60 minutes and I realize what I must do and your wonderful work helps me when I visit the Hospitals cardiac wards to show the other patients not to worry because look at me!
    God Bless you and your loved ones with vibrant health and energy to continue to inspire so many people on Earth!
    Sincerly,
