    Hello Shawn,

    So many interesting quotes here, thankyou for sharing them. Number two I have heard it being recited often. Mark Twain was one that stood out also.

    I believe curiosity, so important to our life’s existence. How would we ever be able to drive cars, fly in plains, sail in ships or cure disease; the world would be at a standstill if people were not curios. So much knowledge has been acquired over the years in all aspects of life’s existence. Everything we use today came about because of someone’s curiosity. Things that were impossible once now exist and are used every day. In the medical field machines that help us to live longer through early detection of illnesses, such as, Ultra Sound, MRI and CT-Scans. We can even harvest skin for burn patients using their own skin so no rejection can occur when they perform a graft and with very little scarring.

    Everything that touches our lives today came about because someone was curios enough to try something that had never been done before.

    I keep six honest serving-men,
    They taught me all I knew;
    Their names are What and Why and When
    And How and Where and Who.
    ~Rudyard Kipling

    There are no foolish questions, and no man becomes a fool until he has stopped asking questions. ~Charles Proteus Steinmetz

    The larger the island of knowledge, the longer the shoreline of wonder. ~Ralph W. Sockman

    Discovery consists of seeing what everyone has seen and thinking what nobody has thought–Anon

    Have a lovely day!
