We all know we need to exercise.
Sometimes we come up with a routine in life that allows us to stay in shape…and other times we fill up our time with unessentials that take away all our free time…and exercise is one of the first things out the window.
But read these exercise quotes, and you might just wake up your resolve to get back in shape!

This one catches my eye: I think if you exercise, your state of mind – my state of mind – is usually more at ease, ready for more mental challenges. Once I get the physical stuff out of the way it always seems like I have more calmness and better self-esteem. -Stone Gossard. But it is easier to say you will exercise, it’s getting up and doing it that’s hard. Thanks for the thoughts Shawn

I believe in quality o life, if I want to enjoy my life then my body needs to be in good working order. Blessed by surviving cancer, I believe in natural healing of the mind body and soul. If you make exercise something you enjoy you will maintain it.
I love music, I choose my favourite music of the day then I put aside one hour for stretching and exercising at least three times a week. I try and do them everyday but sometimes it gets a little too busy and at 61 years old everythings takes so much longer to do, smile!
I appreciate the time I have been given and I am thankfull for each day. To the best of my ability I will try to maintain my health. Good health is a gift and should never be disregarded or abused. Like everything in life, we have a choice. Remember to choose wisely.
Have a wonderful day Shawn, thank you for inspiring quotes.
Wow, Lee…amazing that at 61 you’re striving to keep in shape. Good for you! I’m sure you plan on doing the same thing when you’re 91 and 101, right?
Hi Shawn, all my life I have been active, I use to do ballroom dancing, horse back riding, ski-ing, squash and swimming. Never owned a car I walked everywhere. Played soccer with my sons and basketball when they were young. My favourite excerise these days is Yoga and Pilates.
I just had my bone density test and my specialist was amazed, he told me I have the bones of a 21 year old. I guess I must be doing something right. For many years I was mistaken for my two eldest sons girlfriend, they refused to go anywhere with me, they use to say, “how can we pick up”. smile. I do consider myself lucky in many ways.
I don’t think I wound like to live past 85 years old, all your friends pass away it can get a little lonely.
The best thing happening in my life is I am going to be a grandmother, my first grandchild. WOW!!!!
If you had a look at the back of my book, the photo there
is only five years old.
Have a wonderful day Shawn, take care always.
Book? I’m sure you’ve told me about it before, but can you remind me about this book you mentioned?
I like this post. All make sense to me. For me exercise is Yoga and meditation. Pretty much covers the whole body. Couple of exercise I like particularly are Surya Namaskar(Sun Salutation) and Pragya Yog. Both covers the mind and body. Meditation adds the peace to mind and opens your mind up for different challenges.
these just make me feel guilty bcs I don’t exercise enough
