These are all wonderful quotes Shawn, they explain in varies ways how we can be innovative: If ever we needed to know these explain so wonderfully well. I have some information but in essence it only reaffirms what you have posted here.

Innovation involves more than just great ideas. We need faith, hard work and a laser sharp focus for the end result to keep persisting for our vision in the face of roadblocks. We tend to see the end result of a creative idea in awe, but what we don’t see are the actions, hard work and persistence behind the scene to make the vision a reality.

The term ‘innovation’ means a new way of doing something. In context of corporate ‘innovation’ means the process by which an idea or invention is translated into a good service for which people will pay. It is a positive change to make someone or something better. Innovation leads to increase in productivity and is the source of increasing wealth in an economy.

Innovation is not a single event or activity, it is a process. In terms of business, innovation is the generation of fresh ideas, the ongoing development of products, services and processes and their commercial application.

Creativity is the most important part of being innovative as it initiates the process. Creativity is about generating new ideas and the process of innovation involves making those ideas a reality. Creativity is wasted if there is no process in place to take ideas and turn them into something that has market potential.

There are keys to a successful innovation: work, strengths, and impact. Innovation is work. It’s sustained effort in a focused area. Even if you’re a dream machine and think up a bunch of ideas on a regular basis, you need to test those ideas against reality. Your ideas need to change the game. Part of what makes it possible to think of game changers is playing to your strengths and testing your ideas.

    Wishing you a wonderful day!
