This one really struck me, because I went to a poetry reading last night and one of the poets shared with the crowd the reason he decided to start that particular group. He said that he feels poetry (or any art/gift) is meant to be shared with others. Amazing!
Hey Shawn, I´m still here in cyberspace reading yr quotes. Keep them coming. Tks. Brgds. AE
I’m here and reading you. That’s one person at least. Love the quotes. Would like to see more in the emails. My phone isn’t a fan of your website for some reason. It struggles with it. Keep up the good work.
What kind of phone do you have? I’ve been toying with a plugin here that should render my site better on all phones, but I have activated it yet. I guess your comment has re-ignited my desire to get it working! And as for the emails, I know, I know; in a survey I did last year, over 70% of of the subscribers said they’d like me to send out a thought daily or almost daily! I’m still toying with that idea. But in the meantime, you could also fan me on Facebook or follow me on Twitter; I sometimes send out quotes daily (or almost daily) on those platforms. 🙂
Fear less, hope more, eat less, chew more, whine less, breathe more, talk less, say more, hate less, love more, and good things will be yours. -Swedish Proverb

Love the quotes, especially personal growth.
Such wonderful quotes Shawn, thankyou for sharing these inspirational words. I could not pick a favourite as each one captured my thoughts to ponder upon.
Just some thoughts I would also like to share:
Light that lies deep inside of me
Come forth in all thy majesty
Show me thy gaze
Teach me thy ways
That I a better person may be
Darkness that lies deep inside of me
Come forth in all thy mystery
Show me thy gaze
Teach me thy ways
That I a better person may be
Love that lies deep inside of me
Come forth in all thy unity
Let me be thy gaze
Let me teach thy ways
That I a better person may be
Look well to this day,
For it and it alone is life.
In its brief course
Lie all the essence of your existence:
The Glory of Growth
The Satisfaction of Achievement
The Splendour of Beauty
For yesterday is but a dream,
And tomorrow is but a vision.
But today well lived makes every yesterday a dream of happiness,
And every tomorrow a vision of hope.

Yes, I open about 90% of your mailings; read and gain some great thoughts each time. You inspired me to collect quotes for my teenagers to lift them in tough situations. I consistently enjoy your work, so count this as really positive feedback! Thanks for what you do! (-;
Awesome comment, Diana. It sort of makes me think of a ripple effect, where someone shares a quotation that gets shared again, and it ends up helping & inspiring more than just one person. Glad to have you here.
Thanks so much!
Thanks everyone for your comments and kind words! I feel bad not replying to each one of you personally…especially since I kind of “guilted” people into re-affirming that you’re all still here and reading my thoughts-of-the-day by email! I guess I just needed a confirmation that what I’m working on with this site is still being appreciated. 🙂
Thanks again.
I really appreciate all the quotes. I place some of them on our notice board in the office, and everybody loves to check what is next! Greetings from Cape Town, South Africa

Thanks Donna. I’m happy to help you pass on the inspiration. 🙂
