    Happy new year Shawn and thanks for the quotes. I like the one that says,”There is nothing noble in being superior to some other person. The true nobility is in being superior to your previous self”.

    Its the, “Its not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog” quote stirs my fire. I’d give it to my wife to use as her cafeteria quote of the day but public schools frown on words like “fight”.

    Shawn I found the quote, “Focus on competition has always been a formula for mediocrity” to be a bit curious and wondered why Daniel Burrus felt competition wasn’t an excellent formula for higher achievement until I found this quote which you posted later, “If you want to be incrementally better: Be competitive. If you want to be exponentially better: Be cooperative. -Unknown” What a great pair these two quotes make on the subject of competition. Thanks.
