Six Mistakes of Man

Six Mistakes of Man
Six Mistakes of Man:

1. The delusion that individual advancement is made by crushing others.

2. The tendency to worry about things that cannot be corrected.

3. Insisting that a thing is impossible because we cannot accomplish it.

4. Refusing to set aside trivial preferences.

5. Neglecting development and refinement of the mind and not acquiring the habit of reading and studying.

6. Attempting to compel other persons to believe and live as we do.

-Cicero, 106 BC-43 BC

Nice, isn’t it? 🙂

Cicero always amazes me; I have so many things written down that were said by him.

What do you think of these mistakes?

Yes, they are indeed mistakes that we humans make, I believe that 2;3;4; we often succumb to. I guess being human, although not to excuse, mistakes will be made as none of us are perfect and if we think we are then heaven forbid, smile! All we can do is our best.

Wishing you a wonderful weekend, Lee
