Hi Shawn, I also have been reading Silence quotes lately, aren’t they great! I have 1 or 2 to add: Silence creates great strength inside our souls when others are speaking. And:
Her hearing was keener than his, and she heard silences he was unaware of. D.M. Thomas. Thanks for all yours, hope you don’t mind if I note some for myself.

My youngest son is like me he loves the quiet times spent in peaceful thought, as I do. To enjoying the beauty of a sunrise or a sunset; watching the stars and the formation of the galexy at night, sitting by the ocean watching and hearing the sound of the waves roll on in under heavenly night skies. Feel the breeze touch your face, hear the whisper of sounds that evolve in the silence of your evening as you sit and enjoy with each breath that you take.
In silence we are able to feel with your heart and soul.

I really love all these quotes my favourite are:

There are several twists and turns that must be carefully navigated when considering when to be silent and when to speak. Tyrants depend upon the silence of the public. Thousands upon thousands of Jews we slaughtered in silence. Winston Churchill’s keen observation, “When the eagles are silent the parrots begin to jabber.” is worthy of our consideration. The truly sad thing is that far to often parrots consider themselves to be eagles, and eagles often fail to recognize the value of their words. Thanks Shawn for not keeping all these words silent.
